Deutsches Hygiene-Museum

For the temporary exhibition “Future Food” at The Hygiene Museum in Dresden, various communication tools needed a design to reflect the topic and attract new visitors. The exhibition is divided into three parts and treats themes such as justice in distribution, vegetarian nourishment, and the power of big food enterprises.

An overall visual outlook and design was created to be applicable on different formats such as billboards, posters, flyers, invitation cards, as well as online media. Attributes such as style of fonts and colours reflect back to the design DNA created for the exhibition. Through using these visual codes we wanted to create a link that connects the space design with the entire set of communication tools.

Martin Gropius Bau

In October 28, 2015 the exhibition “Russia–Germany, from confrontation to cooperation” opened at the museum Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin (initiated by the German-Russian museum Berlin-Karlshorst). As an already involved cooperation partner within the design of the exhibition it-self, we got asked to expand and integrate the visual concept and design in all printed media. The task was to develop a graphic concept for banners, leaflets and an invitation card.

Deutsch-Russiches Museum

We created a design to the printed material that has a strong independent identity with the main focus on representing the physical exhibition. We re-used the triangles as an element from the exhibition and created a more abstracted layout and graphic pattern. These triangles refer to fragments as a symbol of the multifaceted history of the German-Russian relationship. A balanced mix from both nations’ national colors was chosen to underline the two countries equal presence.
